I have two 95 Chevys and am looking to get a Snap On MT2500 red brick scanner. How good is the live data? What bidirectional commands does it perform?

Also looking for brake bleed command. Or is there a certain cartridge that I should look for?

I would expect the '95 vehicle to have at least as much live data as my '88 provides. Probably more data.

Never needed to use it to bleed brakes.

As long as the software cartridge is new enough to accept a 1995 GM vehicle, you should be OK. You'd probably also want the "Troubleshooter" cartridge along with the Primary cartridge. 1999-Earlier "Domestic" cartridges are common and inexpensive.

The ideal situation is that you buy the scan tool with the proper software along with all the vehicle adapters to suit any other vehicles you might want to connect to.
