Like the title says, I'm trying to figure out what to use on the dash. I know its just hard plastic and won't really absorb anything, but I want to keep it looking decent. The dash was Armor All'ed for years by my dad and given its not the best stuff for plastic, it stayed relatively clean. My dad was a smoker though and I can see small amounts of dirt and nicotine build up on the dash toward the defrost vent. I was debating on using water with some car wash soap and a soft bristle brush to try scrubbing the dash to get the original gray to come back.

Do you guys have any other suggestions?

dish soap will dry ti quick fast and in a hurry but does well, follow it wuickly with some denatured alcohol. and then i typically use vaseline honestly. mix some of that with some of your favorite interior cleaner/solvent whatever and scrub.
