Reverse lights need a jiggle to come on

1992 Blazer with the 700r4 automatic, it shifts into reverse fine but sometimes I have to jiggle the shift lever to get the reverse lights to come on. What's the first place to look for something like this?

Hey! I've been trying to adjust my reverse light switch on the steering column since i i have to hold the shifter up in reverse to get the reverse lights to turn on. I set the vehicle in reverse and adjust the switch until they turn on. But then when i go back to parking i have to kinda force...
