Has anyone removed their body side sport plastic to clean/wash underneath and then replace it? Just picked up a 96 that's seems clean, just wondering, thanks

Stupid question, what's best way to remove it? I like the flares, but can do without that plastic on the side... Thanks!

not a stupid question at all, use a hair dryer or heat gun if you have one, heat up the moulding and peel it of the panel, once you got it all off use an Eraser Wheel in a drill that will remove any left behind 3m tape without damaging the paint then polish the paint

I just masking tape right above it for the full length of the truck.... then Krylon semi-gloss it from the rubber down...

You must be registered for see images

rubbing alcohol to clean it first, but, yeah... I think it looks good
i like the idea of leaving it just for runaway shopping carts and tight parking spots. it does save you from chips/dents there
