Re-Gearing my OBS 2wd

I recently put 35's on my 2wd 97 silvy, w/ 5.0. Its lost some of its balls. I want to re-gear to maybe 4.56s. Is this a good kit? Im not sure what it means about "will not work with pinion mounted abs sensor". do obs's have a pinion mounted abs sensor?

The rear speed sensor on a 2wd obs is located on the tailshaft of the trans, not on the pinion or rear end at all, so you should be fine.

is the speed sensor the same as the abs sensor?

Yes on a 2wd obs it's the same on the rear, only the front on 95+ 1/2 ton's got independent front wheel speed sensor's.

On a seperate note, burb's and 2DR Blazer's got the front sensor's in 92.

cool thanks. I ended up ordering a ring & pinion gear set with install kit off ebay for $200 bucks.
