I bought a truck that needed a power steering line. 97 4.3 2wd. I decided to change both lines. Now I start it and it runs for a few seconds. You hear the power steering whine real quick and the one of the lines shoots off. Is it possible I have them backward? Each line is a different size in the steering box so I didn't think I could mess that up. Could there be a different issue? Thanks guys

Shoots off from a threaded connection at the steering gear or just comes off where the hose clamp is?

Great pic! Looks like they ended up backward somehow. Feel stupid but I kinda figured. Thanks for the help. Pops out at the clamp.
