Part Number on Sunvisors

How do the sunvisors get so worn out? What's inside them? Must be some kind of paper board? Foam?

I performed an autopsy on mine. There paper and a plastic frame. The envelope carrier gets stretched and the door on the mirror normally breaks off the hinges. Not to mention the padding or foam turns into dust.

I sourced newer visors from a newer 900plateform. They seem to be made better. Structurely. I've heard the 800plateform is also a good upgrade as well

The 800 idk. Never did it. Might have some info on the forum. The 900. Is plug in play but the bracket holes are different. I'll take some pics when I head home. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the 900 like I did. The led lights and mirror are great. But the size is smaller and ive been wanting to make some type of adapter plate so the 3 holes bolt flush to the headliner like the originals. As of now there 45degrees off.

I can't remember exactly but when you check they would most likely be on the plastic somewhere. I think on the pull out side cover.
