OBD 1 to OBD 2 Scanner Cable?

I have done a bit of research into this. Looking at adapter cables that claim to do it on Amazon. All the reviews say they don't work.

Keep in mind I have no idea what i'm talking about with ECM/PCM LOL.. But your in Canada? On on few fuse box area in some 88-89 I seen TWO different ECM fuses, one said Canada? Not used ? Again IDK..

EDIT.... My bad .... It said DRL not used fuse Canada.

I have an obd 2 change to obd 1 cable ,. My scanner will read one 1 but the original cord is longer available. So the adapter cord 1 into 2 into scanner. :waytogo:
