I'm Awesome
Hi guys!
I am building an engine for my 1992 chevy silverado. I bought a street warrior weiand intake. Unfortunately, the differences were a little more than I first imagined. Most of the brackets for the sensors can be relocated with a little bit of work. It appears that the throttle cable and the coil will bolt up. I want to save a lot of work trying to figure out how to do the accessories. My heads are aftermarket with bolt holes. The original plan was to keep all the original brackets and keep the serpentine belt setup. The truck has a/c. One of the support brackets does not have a mounting hole. The first thought is to make a new support. How have you guys handled this? I am getting rid of the egr setup. Also, my plan is to set it up for a carb first. I have a megasquirt system that I will be using after the engine proves that it is running. Have any of you done something similar? I would appreciate any tips that you could offer. Thank you
