The biggest issue is, if your truck doesn't already have one, you likely have a trans cooler in the place the fan sits.
Yes I've noticed that on your truck and one I saw in the yard last year(didn't have the correct tools to get it, and then of course it was gone the next time I was there!). Thanks for the tips!

I wonder if a 4x4 Burb would have the fan setup, and the extended lines to mount the cooler on the other side? I know that works for something equipped with the 80E, but I honestly don't know if any 60E application came with that setup?

Could be that 80E is synonymous with a pusher fan. That's how it goes comparing my dually to my 1500. I'd have to check my 2500 again to see where it falls.

Good question, cause I'm pretty sure my crew cab doesn't have this fan(but it's not a 7.4 either, just a 5.7). Seems like it'd be a good thing to have though, especially if you are in a lot of traffic when it's warmer weather.

My truck has the pusher, my dad's old C3500 had the pusher; but those are both 454 trucks. Could it be a 454 only thing? I don't think I've been around any 350/80E trucks and paid attention to the fan location.
I know on my truck I'm going to ditch the small factory fan for a 14 or 16" Flex-A-Lite fan; another member on here has a TBI 454 Suburban who did the same.
