OH NO, THE DIP STICK IS BACK ORDERED!!! I'm gonna cancel the engine before it ships :fca5278d:
I was too late, I just got an email, Blue Print says the small block shipped today. I also got the ARP head bolts and FelPro Gasket set from Summit Racing. I guess I'm gonna build it after all. I still have a lot of parts to clean, only one head is done so far :confused:

So the reason flat tappet cams are eating lobes is the epa made the oil manufacturers take out the ingredients that kept this from happening. Eastwood and I’m sure others as well sell an additive called zddp to stop the wear out of the flat tappet lobes and is why everything today has a roller of some sort for a camshaft
