Not enough square tubing? People throw out bedframes all the time. It's cheap angle iron. Hard as hell to drill, but welds nicely and incredibly cheap on big trash pick up day.
Oh I got plenty of that. I have a few other projects to do also requiring the 1" square tube. I am also using the angle as well.

Check this out Matt, you don’t see many of these 318 Wedge’s. Friend in High School had a 413 Max Wedge.

Ahhhhhh the polysphere 318. Or "poly" for short. Now that's a chunk of history. The concept was to get Hemi like power out of the small block "A" engine. People regarded them as a boat anchor because hop up parts were hard to find to non existant. The "LA" or Light A engine was developed to replace this one, and used standard wedge heads. Definitely an interesting piece of history. Like the SBC having the same bellhousing all the way from the 1950s to present day, so too the Chrysler 1st gen Hemi from the 1950s along with the poly engines, and small blocks all the way through the early 2000s, and into the modern Hemi also share the same bellhousing pattern. That's a real pretty looking Plymouth Satellite vert too.

Sheet metal and other non metal sheet materials rack is done. It's like a miniature home depot plywood hauler lol. Going to put masonite, finish 1/8" plywood, acrylic sheet on one side, the metals on the other.

So heres a little more on bathroom reno. House was slapped together in 1980. I guess the building industry was still suffering from Jimmy Carter's Malaise era. I found some decent work, and some horrible $hit in this home. One wall board I put in over a twisted stud that by rights should have been firewood.

Anyways I pulled the wallboard back down, used my sawsall to rip the twisted stud down its length to make it not contact the wall board as it was pushing the sheetrock out, and put in a straight stud next to it in line with the ones on either side to eliminate the bow out. It wasnt minor it was a pretty big bow. Since the wall on the other side is a bedroom closet with decent sheet rock but bowed in on that stud, the new stud ended up being about 1/2" too thick. I ended up ripping the new stud down it's full length with a hand held circular saw.

The access hole cut for the shutoff valves I framed with wall edge moulding. Gorilla glue and clamps. Stuff works great. I use it for a lot of stuff. It's a definite recommend for any wood work. Still need to drill and install 2 drywall screws to hold the panel in place, and repaint inside there. I also added 2x4 blocks to the wall studs where the shower rod will go. I plan on making welded tube ends that screw into the studs that the shower rod will just set into. Will get those powdercoated white. Next weekend I will do the mud n tape work.

Sooo the wifey wants a pool, and I dont want a pool. We bought a blow up ring fill it up 8' diameter one for my son to enjoy. I find myself floating around with a beer in hand in it. My wife is enjoying it too. I told her I really still dont want a pool, but maybe a compromise. She come up with this. A 10' diameter livestock tank tub, with a pool pump and skimmer. Low and behold, we stopped at a buddy of mines place prior to going to the car show, and he has an 8' stock tank pool lol. Inside painted blue pool epoxy, outside painted brown, and blue pool noodles ringing the top. It's got a pool pump and a skimmer. Sooo this is one of the next projects. Pic is one she found on the internet.

Well it's been several weeks, and Grak moved herself out and into some dudes rent house. Wifey said this time it's for good. Kid got mad and broke the TV, and out she went. Sooo I go to Allstate to check out my auto and home insurance renewal last friday. $117 a month surcharge on top of my monthly auto insurance payment for next 3 years.

Clark, that's the gift that keeps on giving all year through. That's what kept running through my mind in cousin Eddie's voice. So this adds roughly $4000 to the list of broken $hit along with the broken 52" screen TV. I'm not replacing the TV. I stuck a small one in its place from my shop. Wife wants a bigger one, well she can buy one.

That's about it. It's too effing hot to do anything out here. 102°F to 109°F when I get home from work after 10 hours in this, I'm physically exhausted. Tomorrow I will do some P.M. on the 2 daily drivers in the morning, and a tire rotation on mine before it gets too hot out.
