No worries brother, I didnt take it that way at all. I understand that you are just explaining how it went for your brother. I am hoping that what happened to your brother happens to her, and that she actually survives rock bottom and fixes herself. I am worried that she is going to piss off the wrong people and end up dead in a ditch somewhere.
Yeah and going through it as a parent is NOT something I’ve been through, that’s a different animal.

Starting on a bit of clean up. I am starting to get my G.A.S. "give a $hit" back. Cleaning up that back room, added bistro lights to the patio yesterday. Converted the broken motion sensor light to a regular light and screwed in a plug in adaptor for the bistro lights. Cleaned the glass panels, and painted it up.

The china freight lights have a 3 wire plug, the adaptor in light fixture does not. So I added a wire nutted ground wire to light fixture, and my homemade adaptor plug has 3 wire plug at the lights, 2 wire plug at the fixture with the ground wire separated to wire nut to the fixture ground wire. It's not UL listed, but it's safe and good. The plus is that I can just turn them on and off with the wall switch inside the house.

I may get another string of these from china freight, and continue them along the carport. Picking up new screen material today to fix the window screens that were kicked out, and the others that are full of holes. Wife wants to make it into an exercise room.

To catch Gracs like any other wild animal, you need bait. I have it on good authority that they prefer cash money that's not connected to a job, apple i phones, and car keys to fancy cars. They will take a Whataburger and fries meal as a substitute but that tends to spoil quickly.

The other part is cameras. If your trying to catch a Grac, ya gots ta have cameras. I'm planning on a few more strategically placed around the outside of the house as money will allow. This nest camera picks up a lot. Look at the span. Even catches part of the back yard. Its tucked nice and discretely on the carport pole. I am concerned that shes gonna try something stupid to the wifes car now that we got it back. This time she will smile for candid camera.

Ok, I work doing aircraft sheetmetal repair for a living. I get pretty filthy. Even as a crewchief, I still get filthy. Those of you following know I bought a Ford Maverick mini truck as a daily driver. I wanted a seat cover I could easily install, remove and wash in my regular washing machine when it gets a little rough.

I remove this on my 6 days off when I'm wearing nice clothes so I can enjoy the factory upholstery, and reinstall it the night before I go back on shift. I'm gonna make one of these for my silverado as well.

I started with an extra length bath towel from walmart. Added a brass grommet kit for tarps, some steel conduit, washers, plastic tube, and parachute cord. I strategically installed the grommets to catch the headrest posts, the seatback sides and bottom. The tubing slides between the upper and lower cushions to keep it in place.

The parachute cord, washers, and plastic tubing fasten it at the sides and bottom. These remove from the towel for washing so they dont foul up the washing machine.

The pix actually tell a better story. This could be made to fit just about anything. I used an old winter wool beanie for the headrest. I think I'm into this for about $20 and is good enough for my filthy clothes during my work week
