muffler recomendation

My old muffler from discont mufflers r us broke. What is a good muffler that has good flow for a 1991 4.3 C 1500

Funny mine is rattling now too I was just looking into these. the xs1259 looks good. stainless, fully welded, magnaflow knockoff. Big can like a flowmaster 50 series. $50

I currently have a dynomax straight thru muffler on mine. Its a bit louder than my old magnaflow but less droney at freeway speeds. Not sure how it would sound on the 4.3 though since I have a 5.7 But I'm much happier with it than the old muffler.

If you drive in a state that salts, stay away from the “aluminized steel” crap if you want it to last more than a year or two.

Seems basic but flowmaster is my preference. I like the super 44's, they give a nice loud bite and deep rumble while giving max performance.
