moving

I have a 94 xten cab and want to do a custom interior. I am wanting to know if anyone has moved the heater/ac controller to another place in the dash !!! I want to know if this is possible and I am sure I have seen it somewhere before !! Reason for moving it is that it would open up a whole section for a bigger screen for dvd/rear camera !! Any help is appreciated !! Thanks

I'm pretty sure I've seen it but cant remember where. I would think it would be as simple as extending the wires.
