LS1/T56 fuel mileage poll

i went to my local yard yesterday and well gmt400s are extremely common in that yard but gmt800s are actually kind of rare and normally when there is one, it gets stripped down in days but there was one that ive seen there for about a month and it still has its 5.3 in it, actually literally everything is removed from around it, like the whole front end, literally only the motor mounts are holding it there and i was thinking i wonder why its still there, i was so tempted to grab it and rebuild it over time but i really dont have the room for it right now
