lowering and hualing question

I use my truck for work, I've had the bed almost full to the top with dirt

its a 1500, could i lower, but put the 3500 leaf springs in the back and still be able to hual if needed

Yes but it will ride like a tank, I would suggest that you lower your truck and use some helper air bag's. that way unloaded you will have a decent ride and be able to haul as much as you want.

^X2. I believe that helper airbags are the way to go. It's like suspension on demand. I'll be putting some helper bags on my truck when I get the money.

Once I lowered my truck, I put helper bags on it. I could actually carry more with them installed, than I could when it was at the stock height.
