I would like to put 2500 springs on my 98 Yukon, wondering if it will bolt up or if there will be fab work involved

Truck springs won't fit, you'll need SUV springs..

I have some ~3" lift 2500 springs off of my Suburban if you are interested you can PM me for more details. I can't guarantee the lift height as the Yukon will be lighter.
