No. The Impala SS size was 255/50's. That's what was on the wheels when I bought them. Kinda short tires for the highway, but fun around town.
Here's the size difference.

The Impala tires looked really tiny on the truck. Especially the rears.

The problem is the limited selection of sizes for 17. I’ve had the wheels for years and I’m definitely going to use them for something, so no matter what I was gonna end up with the 275/40 and 315/35 combo that I got. I have all four tires mounted on the rims now and the rears are on the truck. They are way short at stock ride height made worse by the taller than stock tire/wheel currently on the front. I gotta cut the old warped 5 lug rotors and swap them back on to put the matching fronts on and check fitment.
