Is this the transmission speed sensor and is it easy to pull out?

Only tools required are channel locks, flat head screwdriver, hammer and a long socket. If you can't twist it out with the channel locks then get after it with the screw driver and hammer.
One more thing before you reinstall the new one clean the area and put some lube on the O-ring. You may also need a socket to drive the sensor all the way in. Just gently tap it in until it stops. When you go for a test drive if it makes a weird sound you don't have it knocked in all the way.

Thank you. Will be doing this job soon and posting the video on the channel. It seems straightforward enough, but just want to make sure.

I never looked in the shop manual so am not aware of the "tool" to remove the speed sensor. I just assumed a pair of pliers or a channel lock would do the job.
