I am going to finally swap out the black box out of my 97 Chevy and put in a 0411 PCM. Starting on it on Sunday, Have to use the truck tomorrow. I am always nervous when you do something for the first time. Shouldn't be that hard. The nervous part is hooking up the EFI Live to get it tuned so it will run again. :grd:

I am having issues with getting the wire connectors off the dash bezel. What a pain in the ass.. I have to run the wires to the computer from the neutral safety switch. Not much room to work with underneath.

Finally got the speedo out so I could get to the wiring harness. I taped into the wires for the transmission neutral safety switch.

I had to drill another hole in the firewall. Did not have grommets. I used heat shrink around the wire then silicone the hole shut.

I put wire loom under the dash to clean up the bare wires. Still need to do something with the wires by the PCM waiting till it is running.
