I mean it came out without snapping off in the intake manifold. I already had a new fitting and hose I was just preparing to have to use the lisle tool to get the broken fitting out of the intake manifold but luckily it twisted right out. The last 2 I did broke right off.Not strange at all. That quick connect fitting is known for corroding and coming apart. It's supposed to look like this

Yea luck is on your side. The last 2 fittings I did like this broke right off in the intake manifold.If you're asking how rare it is for it to come out easily? Mine came out without any problem. Then again I have had great luck on my 99 burb with stuff. Nothing has really been too stuck. The parts truck I used was a different story though.
I did a full engine replacement without anything really getting stuck. Exhaust flange bolts were the worst culprits, but a good 6 point socket on a large impact and they were good. I didn't break any exhaust studs on either sets of heads. Lucky I guess.
My bad - mine came out easily too. I even reused it on my new manifoldI mean it came out without snapping off in the intake manifold.
