I just got a 97 k1500 and it has two wires coming off the trailer light harness which are just like another harness and they were around 5ft long so I cut them down to around 2ft, however when I cut one of them, it shorted out and now I have no parking lamps, gauge lights, and no rear lights. But the turn signals and brake light works. Someone told me that it was the headlight switch and fuses. I got a new switch and changed the fuses but still no lights. I wanna get this sorted out before I put my new suspension on.
