Sick and tired of your doors sagging? Having to slam the door 45 times then breaking the interior handle off. We have the fix for you. Introducing our heavy duty bronze door bushings. Made from a solid bronze none of that cast stuff. The tolerances are so much tighter. A better tighter fit in the door as well. We have a ton of these on the market with zero failures as long as they have been installed properly (Get with me if you need pictures of which way the bushing goes).

One note about these trucks are the later year 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. They have a special bushing that we have yet to get our hands on to remake. Most of the guys just redrill them to fit the standard 88-98 bushing incase an issue comes up later.

We offer these in standard size which is what is most common, but we do have an oversized option as well. The oversized option you have to drill all bushing holes out to 9/16. They still reuse a factory pin. Links below for both!

Couple questions Are the oversized bushings a Better material that don’t bust apart during install or after closing the door for a week like the cast version that the local auto parts sell ? And do you know the difference in size from an oem bushing O.D too the 9/16 oversize you offer ?
My hinge holes with out bushings in seem slightly worn out from previous door sag I tried a oem set and they just were loose or busted apart this should work well for me . I’m gonna order 2 sets

our oversized are made from the exact material our standard are. Still to this date absolutely zero failures yet. Extremely proud of these. Standard the large bushing OD is around 17/32 and the small is 1/2. For the large bushing its not a huge step up. Very confident in our bushings that you will have zero issues.

I am not super up on what the actual difference is. I think we thought we had it figured out, but I am not super confident on that. For some reason the 99-00 3/4 and 1 ton ( honestly it seems more 1 tons than 3/4) had some one off door bushings. So a standard 88-98 door bushing will not work because they are to large. I have not been able to find someone with the exact bushings in good enough shape to remake them so people don't have to redrill to standard 88-98 style.

I shattered enough replacements trying to get them back in that I finally gave up and ordered a range of flanged bronze bushings from some bearing place online. I think it was one of the metric sizes that worked. I actually didn't even think about drilling the holes out... duh... I was too busy blaming China for their f'd up bushings... lol.

I wonder if my original rear door bushings are the off size also, and still in good shape. Since I was going to replace all of the door bushings when I convert to Kodiak handles, I may wind up with some of those funny ones for you. Either way, I'll be in touch.

I installed a set of these today. Used an engine hoist and ratchet strap to hold the door up, You will need a tool to compress and remove the spring. Took me an hour to do both doors and they now open and close like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Thanks Cunningham Machine!

Just to throw another vote towards Cunningham - I installed my lower steering shaft and door pins, bushings, roller pins, and strikers today, and all the pieces were perfect. Super high quality, and really made a noticeable improvement to the steering, the closing action of the doors, and the rattle in the cab going down the road. Glad they're making replacement parts for these trucks.

I have read the comments and to confirm since I have a k3500 1999 model. I would have to drill the holes out to run the cunninghammachine bushing?
