Hmmmm...... Have you taken a multimeter to the plug to check voltages, or continuity between ends?

thanks, not sure if it helps either haha, i have pretty much checked everything. so confused.

To me it sounds so intermit that I think its a poor connection somewhere....... Did you check the plug on the harness by the resistor?

i did, i have spliced in a pretty much all new harness.

in that trouble shooting you posted, it says that if the red wire lights up with a test light, at the relay, that the red wire is ed.

but that makes no sense to me cause that red wire comes directly from the fuse block under the hood.
