I'm curious of how rare this is, I bought my 1991 chevy 1500 extended cab Long bed from the original owner, who ordered it with the bigger rear end, back then you could go down the line picking options...unlike today where you have trim levels that come standard with multiple options. For example my truck was ordered with crank windows but has cruise control. Has 14b sf 6 lug rear with 3:42 gears and g80 with 5 speed manual transmission, I wonder if the frame and brakes are 3/4 Ld? I haven't looked into it. I think the 14b 6lug

The axle isn't very rare. The manual trans is more rare

Gotcha, I know this is the third 88-98 1500 I've had and the only one with the 14b. I've yet to see another, and when I know someone with one I always look at the rpo codes to see what combo they are.

Ok, I never even knew about the f44 rpo...is it just 14b rear end and bigger back brakes,

Or is there a chassis difference? My truck also has a factory single in duel out exhaust passenger side exit that I've only seen on a couple 90' and 91's.

Honestly. Your truck isn't weirdly optioned at all. It's just a heavy half. Crank windows with cruise is pretty typical.
