Use grip shelf mats..they're rubber they sell them with the kitchen appliances in Walmart..I use then for tool mats when I'm working so my tools don't slide off of things..million uses..just added a new one..one mat per mat should keep them from sliding

Yep! lined my toolboxes with them too and have some for when I'm working under the hood. Keeps tools from sliding off.

Should work better, wet heavy floor mat putting more pressure. An assumption of course.

Velcro with the sticky side? They stick good enuff to stay but not so much you can't pull the strip off if you need too. Comes in like a 1 or 2 ft roll at Walmart and just cut to size with scissors

I haven't done anything yet, the floor of my truck is too filthy to put anything down. Now that warmer weather is coming, I'm hoping to detail it and get some of those drawer liners and try them.
