Rear bldg got added course...

White pipe at front corner is for a concrete filler bollard to protect metal bldg's corner and downspout from getting hit when passing thru btwn bldgs and shed... there is a wall behind the shed.

You can also see tops of downspout drains at corners.

Closer view of bollard...

Here's an earlier pic of the retaining wall right behind the shed... there is now a 10'-6" wide slab between shed and bollard location.

Some of the plumbing work at rear of front bldg.

Rebar for concrete filled cells...

You can also see the trench drain I already put in the slab in front of the front bldg... identical drain will be in front of rear bldg. (earlier pics)
Should never have to worry with rain water getting in the garages!

Latest update...
Got the foundations filled...
325 tons of gravel!!!
Contractor was going to make forms this week but he found out when scheduling for concrete that they were going to be closed the week between Christmas and New Years! So he had to hurry and finish his other pour before this weekend. He will make the forms next week and be ready after New Years.

First attempted to bring small dump truck around side driveway to dump directly in foundations, but that didn't work out... just not enough room to easily turn around to drive back out... took a 10+ point turnaround..., so dumped in the street and ran 2 bucketloaders... about 150 trips!!

In 1st pic, lighting was bad... near sunset... so new siding doesn't really look grey.... but last pic really shows the right colors!! Harbor Grey with Ironstone Black trim! I'm really liking it!!! The shops will be almost exact same shades!! Basement window under deck has already been replaced.

Took window out on the side of the house in the garage... didnt need it, never opened it... so framed it in and plywood over it. This is the only picture I have of the window itself.

Also taking out the kitchen door.
I had French doors put in in the dining room when I had house built... not thinking that I wouldn't need both doors at the deck. Light switch for outside light there is in the dining room anyway... Plus with no door, I can extend the cabinets (top & bottom) to the wall to get more storage and counterspace!
You can barely see basement window in next pic.

Will take some more pice tomorrow to show finished siding on the 2 sides and rear, new windows and no kitchen door.
They will finish the front side after Christmas.
