I want to have the lower alternator/ power steering bracket chrome plated. When I remove the screws that hold the bracket to the bock is there going to be any oil come out of the block?

This is the bracket i am asking about. Again sorry if this is a dumb question

Does anyone know why this bolt is so different than the other ones? Its a funky "star" bolt with a nut on top.

Its a stud. The nut should have come off and the stud stayed in. The star is an inverted tork. The only reason for the stud is to make installation easier.
