Did they have two different doors for the gmt 400?

I need more info upon the crew cab doors I just took one of a 97 suburban that’s going on my 98 cc

It is a direct replacement.

If your crew cab was like mine, the only difference is the suburban is wired for a speaker, which I jumped into my front door speakers and now have speakers in the rear doors as well. Other than that they should be identical but you will probably have adjust it to fit. Sometimes you have to put a jack under them and spring them up, sometimes you have to spring the door down, but nearly every time you have to adjust them and since they have pins and bushings and no adjustment, you are left with the only way to adjust by bending things.
