Hey lads,
Got an odd one here.
Have a '97 GMC K1500 extended cab, 3rd door. Lower door skins on the front doors were rotted away, found some matching doors for a good price off a Chev, also 3 door.
Replaced hinge pins and bushings, tossed on the new door and found there to be a rather large gap along the very top of the door and bottom of the door between the roof/rocker and the door itself on the passenger side, where the 3rd door is. Along the latch side of the door, however, the door perfectly lines up and there's consistent gaps all the way down until the very top and bottom of the door.
Wouldn't usually care, but when I tested to see if it's water tight, it is in fact not.
Any ideas?
