I have thought about getting some wrap or something to look like diamond plate for the 03 since its got the diamond plate bed. I think it would help tie it in to the rest of the truck.
Oh and nice job on yours.

it looks good just some sharper angles would make it a little more like a tear

Actually, your rounded angles match up with that picture pretty good. You could probably get a darker shade of red, and paint over the red section that meets the black to make it look like it is "folding" over from the tear, like the red section is curling up and back. See what I mean? You might be able to make what you have work, if not, you can always paint over it.

So I stayed up all night with some friends and I ended up doing more paint on the bowtie and now I really like it.

Looks kinda like camo. I like it personally. I think it fits your truck pretty good. Def get us a pic of it fitted into the grill.
