Hi! I'm relatively new to the forum but have already found it extremely helpful.
I'm preparing to remove the engine from my 1997 Tahoe. It's got numerous oil leaks that are only getting worse. My plan is to just pull the engine and replace all of the seals/gaskets. This may be a dumb question, but I was wondering if I should be concerned about corrosion in the coolant passages while it's sitting in my garage? I hope to be able to get everything done in a month. Should I just plug the coolant ports on the engine and radiator/heater hoses to seal things up while it's removed? Or is it even worth worrying about?
Thanks in advance!
