I recently got a transmission rebuilt and swapped it into my truck. It shifts fine into both 2nd and 3rd, but it’s not going into 4th. I made sure that the trans fluid is at the appropriate level while idling so I know that isn’t my issue. I’m sure someone here has done a carb conversion and figured it out. I have an Edelbrock carb on the motor and a bracket from summit. Attached is how I currently have it set up. If anyone has a similar set up I’d appreciate y’alls input or references to figure this out. I’ve read that a pretty common issue for no 4th is incorrect pressure due to incorrect geometry. So I’d rather park the truck and do it the right way before i mess up my newly rebuilt tranny.

There's a release tab on the throttle sense cable to the trans. What I always did was release and pull so the cable was too short. Then manually move the throttle all the way open, which will pull the sense cable into proper position. Release tab is back by the mount.
