Thanks. 2nd owner says 1st owner towed a boat. I think the rear axle might say It was towed to the ocean………
With any used vehicle I ever bought, I change ALL the fluids to get to a base. You will see if any concerns at rear diff if you open the cover up. Hell, while you are in there, do the axle seals.

I spent 4 years in Okinawa and they'd rust from the top down, not the bottom up as you're looking for.
Salt in the air did that. When I ran shops, I could pick out a coast vehicle. They have salt corrosion on lots of components and all over the top of engine.
