The rear AC line I needed was discontinued so I had to buy one from a gasser. I installed the S&B filter without the box. Seems like the truck is getting hotter air and looking for ideas to get more cold air in. Snorkel maybe?

I do not know about a snorkel setup but this is most likely the best option https://sbfilters.com/products/chev...0-intake-kit-75-5045?variant=44752388325669it is not cheap if you want an aftermarket intake if you want a stock one I would go with the 97+ one it is way better then one found on the 96 and older
Thanks I bought the S&B I just Can fit the box around the filter. The AC line gets in the way. I am trying to figure out if I should cut the S&B box to fit around the AC pipe.

I would just get the correct AC line so everything clears. You could check car-part.com or row52.com to find a truck near you in a salvage yard that might have one, or have a shop make you a custom line. If you Google "Custom AC lines" there are websites that will make you something based on whatever measurements you need. Coldhose.com for example...
