I'm not sure if these are related, but how close they are makes it seem suspect. I just replaced the intake manifold gaskets on my 99 Suburban 5.7.
My wife just drove the Suburban on about a 300 mile trip. When she got back and we got in the service engine light came on. She said it hadn't been on during her trip. Had it scanned at the Auto Zone and it showed the code P0161. According to what I've read, this is the O2 sensor behind the cat on the passenger side (Bank 2). Could something I did with the gasket replacement have caused this? I marked the distributor very closely and I'm confident I put it back exactly where it was.
I'm going to check for broke wires tomorrow.
