Got the front end done on the Sonoma but I had to get creative with the bumper cover it had broken side clips. Then today I picked up a temporary bed to use till my bed or my new bed is done.

I used quick latches to hold the bumper cover on.

It’s an izusu so the wheel openings are a little different but it’s the same color and it’s temporary.

We got the bed swapped today. I kinda like the Isuzu wheel wells.

It’s been a while. I won’t lie I parked my gmt400 for a while but she’s back! I sold my Sonoma to buy a 95’ Gmc ext stepside. Just like the Sonoma the stepside needed work. After robbing the wheels from my c2500 to put back on my 01’ 1500hd it sat until I picked up another set of PYO wheels. I’m about to do a bucket seat conversion and retrofit an f150 center console “not the nice 04-whatever, the 2002 f150”.

The day I drove it home. The window was duck taped in, driver seat frame broken in 10 places, bumper bent, both fenders bent and in bad need of a cleaning.

the night I got the front clip back together she still looked bad but at least the fenders are straight and the bumper sits straight.

We replaced the window and put new door pins in.

I wasted no time and put her to work.

Once the 95’ was up in decent shape I drove the wheels off it until Dad to a shine to it and I ended up trading it for one of my favorite cars of all time.

I managed to pop most of the dent out of the RH cab side.

Dad finally talked me into a trade so I detailed her up nice.

And now I’m the proud owner of a 55’ Chevy 210 crew cab 265 inline 6 powerglide.

The 55’ needed some brake work and some wheels and tires.

I had to haul it to town and when I got back I decided it would be easier to do the brakes on the trailer.

I rounded up a set of oe 55’ wheels but 2 had severe rot in the rim so I rehooped them with wider rims to run on the rear. I ran her with no caps for a while.

I got a stupid good deal on a set of 55-56 caps and popped them on. Tomorrow I’ll show what’s happening to my c2500.
