Auto parts stores have bulk rubber hose, just measure the inner diameter with some digital calipers and get fuel rated hose in whatever size you measured.

That actually looks like the barb and line are two different sizes to me. I wonder how long a heavy heat shrink tubing would last.

Thanks for the reply I just literally measured the inner Diameter of that hose one side is 5/16 and the other 1/4, that would be hard to find not sure if anyone has dealt with this problem.

this is not very helpful... but it tells you that the hose to the purge valve is 1/4.

where is your purge valve? On the engine? The reason I ask is because a non electronically controlled EVAP should have a purge valve with 3 ports and usuaully lives by the canister. but the model year and application you gave shows both an electronic valve and an old style 3 port kind. Whats your VECI label underhood show for the evap system?

does this match your trucks sticker?

also I just noticed your canister does have the third port which is correctly not connected to anything.

I would have to go outside to snap a picture of it. I'll post it in the morning,, it's raining at the moment. Yeah this charcoal canister has no electronics on it it's fairly old school. That rubber hose line goes straight to the fuel tank.

Thanks for the help

I would just visit the dorman help section and look for an emissions/pcv related looking package and if the store is cool they may let you measure the ends (opening it up) or it may be evident just eyeballing. I know for a fact you can at least get the 2 size hose ends and find a metal barb fitting to join them
