I bought a carpet from lmc but don't like the color. It would cost too much to send it back and I cannot find a dark grey carpet for a 90 regular cab. So this opens the window up to dying a carpet. Ive read that many of the aerosol type dyes leave the carpet hard as if you painted it and I don't want that if I can help it... its a brand new carpet with no stains still in the box. Does anyone know what I should buy to dye it dark grey like charcoal grey or so?

Never was a fan of dying because it doesn't always cover evenly and gives the look of it being faded in spots. Try sending it back, they may exchange it and give you a break on the shipping. Or sell it and buy the correct one
