Hey everyone,

Looking further into my options for giving my little TBI engine some life and I'm currently focusing on the intake. I've been told that a popular thing to do with the TBI engine is to ditch the stock intake in favor for a carburetor style intake for the 87-95 heads. My question is, what do you guys do with the vacuum port going into the brake booster? Is there another port on the carb'd intakes that allow for it to be installed in place? Do I need to find a new vacuum source for it?

Any help is appreciated!

if you look up a intake manifold the port is located between the distributor and carb would go. (tapped hole on one of the runners)
