Those recon ones are just strange, too many LEDs in them.

The pacer or recon are going to be much better quality. Whatever you use throw out the hardware that comes with it an use some rubber well nuts an stainless screws....
Alright then I will go with the Pacer ones. To screw them in?

Ya they come with self tappers which isn't a good idea imo. Use some of these, I got mine at home depot.

I used a thread size of 10-24 since that was the biggest that would go in the light....

I used a GM harness so all I did was tap into the brown an black wires at the headlight switch....
