You need something like this:


You may have to remove one wire (if it is not used) and move the remaining wire to another cavity. Shouldn't be anything you can't handle. Your service manual will tell you which cavity should be occupied for the respective connector.

Also, you did get the alternator bracket for that new alternator, right? It uses a different bracket than the other one.

What’s the reason for switching? More amps? Also I’m pretty sure both of those plugs are the same thing.
