C-notch?

Ok I know this has benn asked 1 billion time an some but here 1 more.
I plan on taking the bed off the back an mocking up the flip kit to find the center of where the notch needs to be, then pull all the suspension off cut an bolt in the notch.
The jack stands will be in front of the leaf spring hangers, with being done this way there shouldn't be any binding on the frame correct or am I over doing it?

The center over the axle is already marked on the frame, theres a hole with a plug in it. You don't have to take all the suspension off unless you want to.
