Broken Armrest

Both of the armrests on my truck are broken. Specifically, the clips that screw to the inner door shell have been broken off - see photos.

Does anyone know if a replacement 'tab' is available or a way to fix this? I can devise a way on my own but I wondered if since this is likely a universal problem, if there wasn't some process to follow that someone has come up with.

I have a 1990 Sport if that matters.

I to am wondering about this, you could buy a new OE one but I'm cheap and $90 each is just unreasonable for something bound to break again.
