Bench to bucket seat armrest fitment

So I have swapped in a pair of captains seats from a suburban and I was wondering if this fitment was correct. Because these seats are kinda tearing up my door handles. The photo is passenger side but the drivers side armrest sits a lot closer

Are the seats from the same generation of interiors?
88-93 vs 94-99?
If not, then maybe that's your issue. Not 100% sure that's what's going on, just throwing it out there.

They came from a Suburban with the 94 door panels that had the 4 switches on it. And it didn't seem to rub then. So idk why it's rubbing in this truck, it was originally a bench truck it that helps?
