Brake swap question

Does anyone know if the earlier 10 bolt, 11" brakes fit on the OBS 10 bolt rear? I have an '86 C10 rear axle assy. from a previous project that has the 11'brakes, just sitting on my garage floor, and was wondering if it would be worth the change on my '89 Cheyenne. Having recently joined this forum, I read of the poor braking ability of the GMT400 rear brakes. Thanks

IIRC the drum and shoes are the same part #s. But not sure about the axle attachment/flanges. It'd be a good source of parts if it did though!
