I have a 92 silverado. I start it...and drive. Once I get to 30 mph the brake light comes on...and stays on. I stop..turn the truck off and start it...the light is off. I've changed the brake light switch. Has anyone else had this problem? I hate seeing any warning lights...

Is your parking brake release spring retracting the pedal all the way? Is your brake fluid level low?

Outlaw 910, check your brakes and if you have rear brake shoes check your brake cylinder(s). My '88 was showing a brake light at different brightness of "red". Looked in the shop manual and sure 'nuff it explained the problem. Pulled the drums and found one cylinder "weeping" so I did a complete overhaul of the rears and the brake light was gone.

Good luck and let us know what you find!
