after a couple of years having them i finally got around to installing 1" drop coils while i had the entire front end tore apart(tie rods, ball joints, brakes, $$$). is there any settling after a while? it does not look like it lowered it an inch and if so i"ll wait to have it aligned.

Most of the time I wait 30 days before alignment , or have it done twice

If you just replaced the tie rods adn ball joints, I would not wait to get it aligned.
