I had downloaded this manual a few Months ago, maybe it was from you? Anyway, lots of good info in it!GM 700-R4 "Principles Of Operation" manual, second edition. I believe the 4L60 is just a re-named 700-R4.

I do not know. It wasn't connected when I bought the truck. Is the TV cable adjusted properly? If it wasn't the trans might need rebuilt already due to burnt clutches.
Here you'll find the 4l80E manual, Pinger

it works ok until it has run s few minute. some times she wont move period, even when cold.Is it that it quits working when it gets a little warm? That's usually bad pump. I've had a few parts trucks I bought cheap with bad transmissions that would yard-drive enough to get them in/out of my shop but let them run a few minutes and they'd stop moving.

Uh oh... That's not good. From what I've read, running with that cable disconnected or adjusted improperly will smoke a 700-R4 pretty quick.
Do you think the pickup tube/screen came loose or maybe too short?but after fluid and filter change..... she started acting up.
Dont even start it without the throttle valve cable installed and adjusted correctly.I do not know. It wasn't connected when I bought the truck.
Is you TV cable hooked up now? If not, it needs to be.
